Plane Stupid warns BAA of plans for Camp Stansted - 19th October 2007

In response to the final day of the public inquiry into the proposed expansion of Stansted Airport, at which BAA is expected to round-up it's 'evidence', national climate action group, Plane Stupid, said:

"No one in their right minds would see the proposal for expansion at Stansted as compatible with the imperative of cutting carbon emissions . BAA must be barking to even bother sending their overpaid lawyers to this inquiry just to make another mess on their behalf."

"However, should the inquiry fail to recognise the obvious contradiction between airport expansion and any hope of our stopping climate chaos, BAA can expect Camp Stansted erected on their doorstep faster that you can say Timothy Lawson-Cruttenden."
